TSWRDC (Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree Colleges,) with the help of Vreap, held their first Business Ideation Festival in the early months of 2020.

This festival is one of the first events of many, hosted by the newly launched entrepreneurship centre, Sabala Hub. Sabala Hub is a new space for education and business incubation, and can be found in the Budhera region of Telangana.

Their mission to teach women to be the entrepreneurs of their own lives, is inspiring the youth across the state to think outside the box and imagine a better future.

Over the course of two months (Feb and Mar 2020,) 764 business ideas were submitted by students across all the regional colleges through a web application, after which they were scrutinized by a three judge panel for originality, creativity and feasibility. Of those 764 ideas 105 passed on the regional round.

Later in March, students participated in a two day workshop to learn the ins and outs of business canvasing and pitching to prepare them for the preliminary round.

12th March marked the first day for participants to pitch their ideas to a panel of eminent entrepreneurs and business leaders. Students engaged in a vibrant and stimulating display of unique business ideas that they developed with their respective teams. The 15 teams that did their best are on their way to pitch at the final level come July 2020.
